This book entitled My Feelings Count is one to which we can all relate. It not only has the divinity of simplicity, but is made easily digestible through the many interesting stories.
From time immemorial stories have been the best vehicle for life's greatest messages. Every story in this book contains a great principle of life. Some messages are to be tasted only. These messages should be eaten, digested and throughly assimilated. In fact if they become a part of you they will enrich your future.
Every story ends on a positive note. They reinforce the great principle that we grow strong in the crucible of adversity that what happens to us is not important, but rather our reaction to what happens.

Dr. La Pietra, you do awesome work!!  I had the pleasure of hearing Dr. John La Pietra speak at the International Hypnotherapy Conference in May of 2007.  I instantly became one of a captive audience being drawn to the invigorating energy of Dr. La Pietra.  My experience was a dynamic Presentation surrounded by the Love and Support, that he so freely gave to everyone.  A rare but, "Oh so beautiful" way of educating. For: Dr. John A. La Pietra, CHT The Center for Self-Improvement Los Angeles, CA 90068. The night before and a few days prior to the birth of my first child, my father-in-law, Dr. John A. La Pietra, so generously placed me into a hypnotic trance. While Dr. John was working his magic I felt so calm, comfortable, and peaceful. My trance hypnotic experiences melted all apprehension that I had felt before I went into labor. On the morning of July 2, 2013 I started having contractions. At first I wasn’t sure I was in labor because all I felt was some mild pressure and slight discomfort. A while later my water bag broke. My Husband and I contacted my midwife and about twelve hours later I had given birth to a beautiful, healthy, strong baby girl. I am so thankful to Dr. John for helping me have a pain free labor and a beautiful birthing experience that I will always treasure. I wish all women who are planning to give birth are blessed as I was with an easy and perfect birthing experience thanks to my loving father-in-law, Dr. John.
